Get Out of Your Way
One person needed help with learning how to believe she IS a Life Coach without looking for or needing some type of outside proof. By believing she had to wait for outside proof she was GETTING IN HER OWN WAY of doing amazing work for herself and others. Once she stopped looking outside of her brain, she gave herself the opportunity to look at her own thoughts and beliefs. She realized that by NOT believing she was hindering herself from growing and serving even more. And by deciding to BELIEVE in herself, she became much more open to taking massive action in growing her business and serving her clients.
Rewrite the Past
One person needed help with rewriting her past. Something that happened years ago was still negatively affecting her. What she really needed to see was that the event was in the PAST and the past doesn’t exist anymore except within our thoughts. Sometimes we replay things in our head as if it were happening to us right now, but the only thing happening right now is what you are thinking about and the feelings your thoughts are creating. Just knowing and believing that can be life changing.
Failing is Good!
One person needed help with believing that failing is a GOOD thing. Instead of trying for what she wanted (for fear of failing), she failed ahead of time by giving up. You can’t succeed without trying folks! Failing to meet your own expectations doesn’t have to be a bad thing. All you have to do is BELIEVE that failing is how you get to success because that IS how you reach success. Without allowing yourself to fail, you’re placing expectations on yourself to achieve your goal perfectly the first time. Now it makes sense that you wouldn’t want to try for big goals and give up instead! Failing is a good thing if you let it be and each time is an opportunity to learn on your way to success.
I got coached too! I needed help with remembering to ALLOW disappointment and not just limit what I want out of life to avoid it. Disappointment is a FEELING created by my own thinking. And for some reason it feels so terrible to me so I try to avoid it by limiting myself and what I want in life. But when I limit myself I don’t have as much fun. So I got coached on having fun and dreaming..who woulda thought! Instead of avoiding disappointment by not dreaming, making big plans, or wanting things, I’ll remember that if I do end up feeling disappointed because of what I’m thinking I can just allow that feeling. And what’s really awesome is that feelings won’t kill you! So off to dream I go!
